Background

The Symposium on Chemistry Postgraduate Research in Hong Kong, as established in 1994, has become a major annual event for Chemistry in Hong Kong.
It serves to bring together all chemistry postgraduate students and faculty members from all UGC funded institutes as well as some industrial partners in presenting the most recent progress in chemistry research.
The discussions of recent advancement in postgraduate research in chemistry, exchange research ideas and foster collaborations and networking are the major objectives of the proposed symposium.
This event will provide postgraduate students an important opportunity to interact with the keynote speaker and local faculty members and students.

Introduction

The 29th Symposium on Chemistry Postgraduate Research in Hong Kong will be held on 12 November, 2022 (Saturday).
This Symposium will consist of a Keynote Lecture, an Oral Presentation Session, and a Poster Session.
The Keynote Lecture will be delivered by Professor Edman Tsang of University of Oxford. The Oral Presentation Session will be consisted of six 20-minute talks, each of which will be delivered by a postgraduate student representative nominated by his/her home university.
